Insurance Litigation Associate AttorneyOur client, a respected boutique law firm located in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood, is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5+ years of experience to join its collaborative team. The firm primarily handles litigation matters involving insurance defense, personal injury, and property damage. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who can take a leading role in managing litigation matters, has strong advocacy and legal writing skills, and values a collegial work environment that promotes professional growth and work-life balance.Responsibilities:Manage and defend civil litigation matters involving insurance claims, personal injury, and property damage.Handle all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery through depositions, motions, and trial preparation.Conduct and defend depositions and participate in trial proceedings.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Develop litigation strategies and assess case risks and potential outcomes.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation.Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Colorado.At least 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions.Trial experience is required.Experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage litigation, or personal injury litigation is strongly preferred.Experience handling property damage claims or related civil litigation matters is beneficial.Skills:Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and communication abilities.Exceptional organization and attention to detail.Ability to independently manage cases and meet critical deadlines.Sound judgment and strategic problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable approach to work.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.Compensation and Benefits:Attractive base salary.Discretionary year-end bonuses.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with a 3.7% employer match, immediately vested.Coverage of annual Colorado Bar dues and continuing legal education (CLE) expenses.Covered underground garage parking.
