Details Stepdown unit position that frequently floats to ICU and MedSurg units 21-bed unit Patient ratios vary by unit: Stepdown 1:4-5, ICU 1:2, MedSurg 1:5-6 Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 Floating required across stepdown, ICU, and MedSurg units Every-other-weekend (EOW) work required Weekly orientation held every Wednesday Manages non-titrating drips including Amiodarone, NTG, Cardizem, Lopressor, and Cardene Cares for vascular patients including fem-pop and CEA procedures Manages NSTEMI and post-cardiac catheterization intervention patients Administers IVP Ativan for CIWA protocol (Precedex not used) Provides peritoneal dialysis care Manages stable BiPAP and Heated High Flow oxygen therapy under 80% Manages home ventilators (Trilogy) Provides wound care and nebulizer treatments Coordinates hemodialysis through the Dialysis Department Uses Meditech EMR Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required American Traveler Job ID P-730077.
