Our client is seeking a Senior Data Modeler with strong experience designing enterprise data models within the mortgage industry. Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence
- Design and maintain data models within MongoDB and enterprise database environments
- Support data governance, data quality, and enterprise data architecture initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and promote data modeling best practices
- Drive architecture discussions and recommend improvements to enterprise data platforms
- 8-10 years of experience in data modeling and database design
- Recent hands-on experience with MongoDB in current or recent roles
- Strong SQL and database performance optimization experience
- Recent mortgage domain experience is required
- Experience supporting Freddie Mac, Client, or similar mortgage organizations is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and enterprise data governance
- Proven ability to think independently, solve complex problems, and lead technical discussions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
