Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Execute route driving with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure on-time deliveries. Transport freight across short and long distances, managing schedules effectively to meet operational deadlines. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure and after arrival. Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any incidents encountered during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver within the oilfield or related industries. Demonstrated expertise in driving manual transmission trucks and operating specialized equipment such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
