CNC Machine Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and execute PM tasks on CNC machines to prevent failures, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix malfunctions in CNC control systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, motors, servos, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Production Support: Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, service records, and parts usage.
• Technical Compliance: Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals, adhering to all safety protocols (lockout/tagout).

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CNC maintenance (3+ preferred).
• Education: High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certification in electronics/mechanical repair is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas), electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and using diagnostic tools.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail
