Litigation Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Tampa law firm to identify an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling sophisticated business disputes, contract matters, shareholder disputes, real estate litigation, and other complex commercial litigation cases.
Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys throughout all phases of commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and resolution.
  
• Draft, prepare, and manage pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
  
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations to support litigation strategy and case development.
  
• Manage document review, production, and organization for complex litigation matters.
  
• Coordinate and oversee electronic filings in Florida state and federal courts.
  
• Prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, witness files, and case analyses.
  
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, trial binders, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics.
  
• Organize, maintain, and manage electronic and physical case files.
  
• Track litigation deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules, scheduling orders, and procedural requirements.
  
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
  
• Experience supporting attorneys in commercial litigation matters.
  
• Business litigation experience is highly preferred
  
• Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures, including e-filing.
  
• Experience handling discovery, document management, and trial preparation.
  
• Ability to manage large volumes of documents and multiple active cases simultaneously.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms, and case management software.
  
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred but not required based on relevant experience.
