This full-time remote position will empower you to deliver critical mental health services to a diverse client population, aiding individuals, couples, and families in navigating their mental health challenges. This role is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. Our community health clinic extends its reach beyond geographical barriers, enabling us to serve individuals throughout California. You'll be part of a collaborative, virtual team that values communication, teamwork, and flexibility, with opportunities to engage in regular virtual meetings and discussions with colleagues to enhance treatment strategies and professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Design, implement, coordinate, and assess individualized clinical treatment programs for clients experiencing acute or chronic mental illness. Engage in multidisciplinary staff meetings to evaluate and plan treatment options tailored to each client's needs.

  • Conduct outpatient psychotherapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Utilize evidence-based modalities and client-centered approaches to effectively address clients’ concerns.

  • Prepare comprehensive intake summaries, detailed treatment plans, and case progress notes in compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards. Maintain accurate and confidential records that reflect ongoing client progress.

  • Collaborate with physicians to screen and evaluate clients for appropriate psychotropic medication management as appropriate within your scope of practice.
  • \n
  • Provide guidance and support to the clients’ families as required, educating them on treatment strategies, fostering understanding, and enhancing family support for ongoing treatment adherence.

  • Potentially supervise and mentor Post-Masters Fellows and Associate clinicians who are completing their required supervision hours, allowing for professional growth and experience sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your key focus will be on a diverse group of clients, including adults, children, and families who require support in overcoming mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will interact with clients in various stages of their mental health journeys and will be responsible for tailoring your approach to meet their unique cultural and individual needs.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • \n
  • Active Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport building and effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in a community health setting or working with underserved populations.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in providing telehealth services and familiarity with digital therapeutic tools.
  • \n
  • Previous supervisory experience or participation in training and developing early-career mental health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and case load management.
