Job Duties

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate individualized treatment strategies designed to help them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Efficacious Interventions: Apply research-driven techniques to improve clients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand in hand with fellow OTs, physicians, PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded and thorough care.
• Educate Clients and Families: Provide guidance on therapeutic methodologies to empower patients and their loved ones in continuing progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor healing journeys, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize clinical outcomes and maintain patient motivation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic institution
• Commitment to ongoing education and advanced certifications is encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Active OTR/L license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement
