Fleet Mechanic - Los Angeles, CA Job Overview Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans and forklifts. Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems. Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records. Manage ordering and inventory of parts. Shift and Schedule Tuesday through Saturday 11am - 7:30pm Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet. Must be able to work on all types of vehicles (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift, etc.) Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds. Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job. Willing and able to acquire the necessary certifications and licenses within the first year of employment, including: ASE heavy and medium duty certification, DOT Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A), DOT brake and annual inspection certification, and A/C certification.
