Help Enhance the Technology That Supports Outpatient CareWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Application Analyst – Ambulatory to join our Clinical Informatics and Data Analytics (CIDA) team. In this role, you will support, optimize, and enhance Epic Ambulatory applications and workflows that help providers and care teams deliver exceptional patient care across physician practices and outpatient settings.Working closely with providers, clinic leaders, operational teams, and fellow analysts, you will help configure, maintain, and improve the systems that support scheduling, documentation, orders, referrals, patient communication, and other critical ambulatory functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, workflow optimization, and partnering with stakeholders to improve healthcare delivery through technology.You'll play a key role in supporting organizational growth, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives that improve both the provider and patient experience.What You'll DoConfigure, build, test, implement, and support Epic Ambulatory and related clinical applicationsPartner with providers, clinic staff, and operational leaders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technology solutionsTroubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution for end usersAnalyze and optimize ambulatory workflows to improve efficiency, user satisfaction, and patient care outcomesCoordinate and support system upgrades, updates, enhancements, and go-live activitiesSupport new clinic, department, and facility build activities as the health system continues to growCollaborate with other CIDA, DTS, and operational teams on integrations, interfaces, and enterprise initiativesCreate and maintain application documentation, workflow designs, build standards, and support materialsParticipate in medium- to large-scale projects involving ambulatory technology and workflow improvementsSupport testing efforts for upgrades, implementations, and system enhancementsServe as a subject matter expert for assigned ambulatory applications and workflowsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend solutions that enhance operational effectivenessWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience supporting healthcare applications, clinical systems, or healthcare technology environmentsKnowledge of ambulatory workflows, including provider documentation, scheduling, orders, referrals, and patient management processesExperience with application configuration, implementation, testing, and supportStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced healthcare environmentStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience with workflow analysis and process improvement initiativesProficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to customer servicePreferred:Epic Ambulatory certificationFive or more years of experience supporting clinical applications or healthcare IT systemsExperience with Epic application upgrades, optimization, and workflow designExperience supporting physician practices, ambulatory clinics, or outpatient operationsKnowledge of system integrations and interface workflowsWhat We OfferAn opportunity to directly support the technology that enables high-quality outpatient careMeaningful work that combines healthcare, technology, and workflow improvementExposure to Epic applications, ambulatory operations, and enterprise healthcare initiativesOpportunities to lead system enhancements, optimization efforts, and strategic projectsCollaboration with providers, operational leaders, and healthcare technology professionalsProfessional growth through application development, project leadership, and Epic specializationA supportive environment that values innovation, learning, and continuous improvementCareer advancement opportunities within Clinical Informatics, Digital Technology Services, and healthcare ITA stable healthcare organization committed to improving patient care through technology, partnership, and innovationJob SummaryRequisition Number: CLINI019015Job Category: Information TechnologySchedule: Full-Time
