About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of PET experience required License: Virginia state license required; any active state license accepted Certifications: BLS, ARRT(N) or CNMT required; PET preferred Must-Have: Experience with Siemens systems and Epic charting required Description: The position requires a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET/CT. The work schedule consists of flexible start times from Monday to Wednesday, starting as early as 6:30 AM based on unit needs. No on-call duty is required. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. The facility allows one shift to be canceled in a two-week period. During the 13-week contract, the technologist must be available to work one holiday, with holidays distributed among staff members. Candidates must have prior experience in PET. Travel experience is required. Active state license is required prior to the start of employment. Compliance documentation must be submitted before the start date. This facility does not accept local candidates who reside within 100 miles. The requirement includes working one holiday per 13-week assignment, with two holidays required during winter holidays.
