K&H Painting Pros, under D5 Capital Holdings, delivers residential and commercial painting—interior, exterior, and cabinets—with a focus on quality craftsmanship and reliable service. About the Role

As a Design Sales Consultant, you're the face of K&H in the field. You'll run in-home consultations with homeowners, present tailored painting solutions, and close jobs, often in the same visit. We set you up to succeed: company-generated leads supplement your pipeline, and you'll also build your own book by connecting with homeowners in residential neighborhoods across the Denver metro area. Before you're ever in front of a customer, you'll complete five days of paid, in-person sales training built around a proven in-home sales methodology, training directly alongside our GM and owner-operator, the people who built this business and know exactly what it takes to close in this market. The next training cohort begins the second Monday of next month, and we accept applications on an ongoing basis, with new cohorts starting the first Monday of every month.

What You'll Do

• Run in-home consultations with homeowners, presenting exterior and interior painting solutions tailored to their needs
• Close jobs on-site, often within the same visit, using K&H's proven in-home sales methodology
• Work company-generated leads while also building your own pipeline by connecting with homeowners in residential neighborhoods
• Represent the K&H name professionally and enthusiastically in the field
• Manage your own schedule and territory within the Denver metro area to maximize consultations and closes
• Track leads, consultations, and job status using your company-provided iPad
• Participate in 30/60/90-day performance checkpoints to stay on track and continue developing your skills
• Follow the K&H sales system consistently, applying coaching and feedback from leadership

What You Bring

Required:

• Genuine comfort starting conversations with strangers
• Resilience and motivation to overcome objections, since most doors won't open
• Self-direction and ownership of your schedule and results
• Coachability and willingness to follow a specific, proven sales system
• A belief that performance-based income is an opportunity to outperform a salary, not a limitation
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel within Denver metro territories

Preferred:

• Prior experience in outside sales, direct sales, or a customer-facing role
• Familiarity with the home improvement or construction industry
• Experience using a tablet or CRM tool to manage a sales pipeline

Compensation

• $80,000–$150,000 OTE (on-target earnings) for consistent performers
• Paid training: $100/day ($500 total) during Week 1 onboarding
• Coming in January 2027:
  • Moving to traditional group health plan (including health, dental, and vision offerings) from current healthcare reimbursement plan
  • 401(k)

• Mileage reimbursed at the federal rate
