A busy healthcare organization in Huntington, NY is looking for a professional and reliable Medical Phone Receptionist to join their team during a period of exceptionally high call volume.
Location: Huntington, NY
Temporary: 3-month assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: Based on experience
Anticipated Start: October 19, 2026
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone with reception, medical office, call center, customer service, or administrative experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You'll be responsible for:
- Answering and managing a high volume of incoming calls
- Assisting callers with general questions
- Routing calls to the appropriate department or staff member
- Taking accurate messages and ensuring information is communicated properly
- Providing general administrative and reception support
- Creating a professional and welcoming experience for callers
- Managing multiple calls and priorities while maintaining xhyhwjd accuracy
What We're Looking For
- Previous receptionist, call center, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling high-volume phone calls
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, friendly demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
