Head Start Teacher Assistant

Job Title

Work site: New London, WI Start Date: As soon as possible Starting Pay: $17.10 - $18.81 per hour, depending on experience Status: Full time, 40 hours per week, part year Benefits: Paid time off, holidays, 401K (6% match), life insurance, access to health, dental, vision and disability insurance.

Duties: Responsible for assisting the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program's philosophy and Creative Curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two - year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development through a technical college and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
• Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or a Registry Level of 6 or greater and two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.

Must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the WI Registry or class. Must be able to work effectively with multi-cultural children and families. CAP Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer
