What You’ll Do Supervise and dispatch move teams daily, coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments. Supports movers and drivers and ensure that they have everything they need to be safe and successfully exceed customers expectations Oversee workers’ compensation and unemployment claims. Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training. Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner. Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines. Calmly and professionally handle displeased customers and provide timely responses and resolutions to customer concerns. Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs. Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours. What We’re Looking For A minimum of 1 years of business, management, or other relevant experience is required; TWO MEN AND A TRUCK or moving industry experience is preferred. Experience in business, management, logistics or other relevant experience is required TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® experience preferred Must be approved by insurance company to drive company vehicles including box trucks under 26,000lbs Must meet background check standards and pass a drug test Must have a proven history of high standards of customer service, safety and compliance Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate, take initiative, develop, and direct people, and be accountable. Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action. Strong decision-making ability.
