Practice Setting & NICU

• 22-bed Level III NICU with private rooms designed to keep families together
• New NICU opened in 2021
• Collaborative team with on-site pediatric cardiology and subspecialty support
• Advanced therapies include HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Pediatric surgery available
• No cardiac surgery except PDA ligations
• No ECMO

Requirements & Credentialing

• Active Virginia APRN/RN license required
• No compact or licensing alternative accepted
• Current APRN national specialty certification required
• Minimum master's degree in nursing required
• Must have been clinically active within the past year
