Accounts Receivable Specialist (contract)
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary: $23 - $25/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive A/R specialist to support invoicing and billing, including generating and sending invoices and working with long term care insurance documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and billing experience, especially if you've worked with insurance processes before.


Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances.
  
  
• Contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices and ensure timely payments.
  
  
• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional manner.
  
  
• Prepare and send out invoices and statements.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of all collections activities.
  
  
• Collaborate with other departments to address any issues impacting collections.
  
  
• Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status and collections efforts.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  
  
• Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  
  
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
