Normal shift time is 0600-1630Position SummaryThe Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Ranging from ultrasound exams, therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound procedures, this position requires independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity.Responsibilities:Produce optimum scanning results, using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and schedule ultrasound appointmentsPerform various duties to include: writing reports, filing, charging and stocking rooms with appropriate productsPlace patient welfare above all other duties while the patient remains in the ultrasound departmentRequirements:Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months a formal ultrasound technology training programRegistered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing InternationalIf registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employmentPrevious experience as an Ultrasonographer preferredCurrent BLS requiredWhy Pulse Heart Institute?Physician-led careProven excellenceComprehensive cardiovascular carePeople-first cultureWell-being and supportPacific Northwest lifestylePay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
