Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join a reputable nonprofit organization in Owings Mills, Maryland. This role involves managing and enhancing the nonprofit's online presence by creating engaging and impactful content across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a knack for connecting with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage engaging content across social media platforms, web, and digital channels.
- Write clear, compelling posts and stories aligned with organizational messaging.
- Plan, schedule, and publish day-to-day social media content.
- Support content development for newsletters and email campaigns.
- Capture and produce basic photo/video content for digital use.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather stories and highlight impact.
- Assist with events, campaigns, and special projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms and content creation.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and basic graphic design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift.
Benefits
$65,000-$75,000 base salary plus comprehensive benefits, including PTO, health insurance, and employer-supported retirement plan. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Max Pay is $75,000. Min Pay is $65,000. Around 0% travel time.
