CDL-A Dedicated Regional Truck Driver

Job Description Job Description Hiring experienced CDL-A drivers on a dedicated fleet out of St. George, UT. Drivers on this Family Dollar account haul dry freight within a multi-state area. This position is ideal for drivers wanting to do more than drive and stay active. Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees. Lane Details: Dedicated account with Family Dollar hauling all dry freight to customer locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregan, Utah, Washington and Wyoming Average 1,700 miles, 2 loads per week, and 3 stops per load Start time is 6AM with up to 14 hour shift Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset. Drivers living in Las Vegas will be out 2 weeks at a time followed by 3 days home Unload the trailer using rollers (requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary) Days off vary based on freight demand, but will fall during the weekdays in most instances Top-of-the-line, tandem-axle, sleeper trucks pulling 53-ft dry van trailers Accessorial Pay Details: Layover 24 hours - $200 per day Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day Training/Retraining Pay - $200 per day Backhaul Pickup - $25 per load St George Backhaul Pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage Mentor Pay - $50 per day - $250 per week Mentor Road Test - $50 per road test Clean DOT Inspection - $25 Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly Driver Requirements: Valid Class A CDL 21 Years of age or older 3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Life and AD&D Insurance PTO 401(k) Additional voluntary benefits For additional details, including eligibility, please see the Company’s Benefit Summary and Driver Employee Policy Manual.
