Field Service Manager

Job Description As a Field Service Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage a Field Service Engineering team for the Honeywell Process Solutions organization. You will apply your leadership skills to improve team performance. You will ensure engagement in new opportunities for market penetration, team deployment, and sales growth. You will liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems and explore additional revenue‑generating opportunities. You will drive and improve metric reporting procedures and own financial metrics, targets and budgets. You will lead quick and effective closure of any improvement opportunities. You will define team expectations and communicate those to stakeholders. You will act as mentor to train and develop future managers. You will report directly to our Director Field Service Engineering and you’ll work on a Remote work schedule. Responsibilities Customer Engagement Lead Team Activities Develop and Report Performance and Financial Metrics Responsible for P&L of $20M+ Develop and Oversee Team Lead Continuous Improvement Projects Train and mentor Field Service Engineers (20-22 employees) Must be able to travel 50% - 70% in assigned geography Supporting Honeywell DCS (Distributed control system) and QCS (Quality Control Systems) Qualifications Post‑Secondary Education in Engineering, Trades or Technology 7+ years’ experience in Industrial Automation and Process Control industry 5+ years' experience in a Lead or Manager capacity Valid Driver’s License Preferred Skills Pulp and Paper experience highly valued QCS & DCS experience highly valued Strong business acumen Entrepreneurial mindset an asset Bachelor's degree or Master's degree valued Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to influence at varying levels across the organization Demonstrated ability to operate independently Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team Previous customer service experience Salary The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $100K - $125K. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $110K - $135K. This salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. This position is incentive plan eligible.
