Wastewater Engineer – Houston, TX

A growing engineering firm is seeking a Wastewater Engineer to join its Houston team and support a variety of municipal wastewater infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to take on increasing technical responsibility while working on projects that directly impact growing communities.

What You'll Do

Design and support wastewater collection and conveyance systems, including gravity sewers and force mains
Perform hydraulic modeling, capacity analysis, and system evaluations
Assist with planning, design, permitting, and preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications
Support lift station and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and project teams
Participate in field assessments and project meetings
Help develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
4+ years of wastewater engineering experience
Experience with municipal wastewater collection systems and infrastructure
Knowledge of hydraulic modeling and design standards
Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills preferred
Texas PE license preferred, but not required
EIT certification or ability to obtain a PE is a plus
