Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to mothers and newborns in the labor and delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions, utilizing C-EFM through NCC.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed during labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records in Cerner.
• Respond to call shifts and provide coverage for mother/baby and scrub needs.
• Support float requirements, including mother/baby and scrub duties.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements, including BLS, NRP, and STABLE, with ACLS preferred.
• Have at least 2 years of experience or 3 years of relevant experience with scrub and charge experience.
• Complete at least one travel assignment previously.
