Host/Server Assistant
$10 per hourPack's Tavern
Pack's Tavern, a busy, family-owned restaurant in downtown Asheville, is looking for a part-time Host to join our team. While your primary role will be hosting, you may occasionally work Server Assistant shifts to support the team during busy times.
What we offer:- Competitive pay - starting at $10/hr + tips (average $18-$20/hr with tip share)
- 3-4 shifts per week, including nights and weekends

- Greet guests warmly and manage the waitlist
- Answer basic questions about the menu and the restaurant
- Help seat guests quickly and efficiently
- Run food and drinks to tables
- Clear and reset tables
- Support servers to keep service running smoothly
- Friendly and welcoming personality
- Ability to stay organized during busy shifts
- Comfortable on your feet for your entire shift
- Strong team player and communicator
