Accounting/Finance Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting/Finance Consultant to support project work and assist in day-to-day operations, allowing key finance leaders to concentrate on strategic tasks. This role requires a strong accounting background and the ability to engage deeply with financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Support project work and assist with day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Help finance leaders focus on strategic objectives by managing operational details.
• Bridge the gap between forward-looking financial planning and accounting review.
• Engage in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate on month-end processes and general ledger management.
• Contribute to financial statement preparation and analysis.

Essential Skills

• 15+ years of strong accounting experience.
• Proficiency in general ledger management and month-end processes.
• Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Strong systems experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in tax or treasury is a plus.
• Ability to work in a detailed, hands-on manner rather than just overseeing operations.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings. The position ideally requires 40 hours per week, but candidates seeking 15-20 hours per week will also be considered. In such cases, multiple hires may be made to meet the workload.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
