RN Renal Med-Surg

Schedule - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details - Daily census: ~48 - Total beds: 49

Requirements - Licensure: GA or Compact RN license required - Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience - Certifications: BLS required - EMR: Epic required

Roles & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive renal medical-surgical care to adult and geriatric patients. - Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings. - Manage pre/post-hemodialysis care. - Administer medications, including blood products, and provide phlebotomy services. - Conduct wound care and manage feeding tubes as needed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 12 hours of onsite orientation required. - RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; RTO rules apply around holidays. - Vaccine requirements: Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted. - Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
