Come join our team! We are currently hiring for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Milwaukee, WI. Who are we? More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs. We provide high quality, comprehensive care to roughly 16,000 patients annually, a majority of whom are low-income. No one is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or ability to pay. We value a patient-centered philosophy and provide a range of services that include family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, urgent care, dental, radiology, and integrated behavioral health. We also offer supportive services such as case management, health education and benefits enrollment. What will you do? The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide patient services, under the direct supervision of a licensed physician. They will elicit detailed medical history, perform a physical exam, perform diagnostic procedures, and carry out therapies appropriate for the patient’s diagnosis and treatment. They will reach tentative diagnosis and conduct an appropriate plan of treatment. They will provide counseling to patients and families on health disease, as well as coordinate medical care through a multi-disciplinary team. What do you need to qualify? Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program Currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin Board eligibility required.
