An UHNW family with multiple residences in Los Angeles is seeking an Estate Manager to oversee the seamless operation and impeccable presentation of their properties. This is a hands-on leadership role for an accomplished professional who thrives in a luxury, fast-paced, and service-driven environment. The Estate Manager will be the central point of coordination between the principals, household staff, vendors, and contractors, ensuring each property operates at the highest standard of excellence. Key Responsibilities Luxury Property Oversight: Direct all aspects of maintenance, staffing, and daily operations for multiple estates, each outfitted with advanced systems and bespoke finishes. Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and inspire a high-performing household team, fostering a culture of discretion, service excellence, and attention to detail. Smart Home Systems: Manage and troubleshoot sophisticated home automation and security systems, coordinating with top-tier technology providers. Capital Projects: Oversee renovations, large-scale maintenance, and design enhancements with a meticulous eye for quality and aesthetic consistency. Budget Management: Develop and manage household budgets, oversee purchasing, and maintain financial accountability. Lifestyle & Event Support: Coordinate and execute high-profile events, dinners, and family gatherings to the most exacting standards. Security & Privacy: Partner with security personnel to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the principals and their residences. Flexibility: Be available for occasional weekend responsibilities and to respond to urgent matters as needed. Qualifications Minimum 7–10 years of estate management experience for UHNW principals, preferably across multiple luxury properties. Proven ability to manage estates exceeding 20,000 sq. ft. with a large staff. Demonstrated expertise in smart home technology and luxury property systems. Refined leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong vendor management, project coordination, and budget oversight experience. Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to anticipate needs before they arise. Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends. Competitive compensation package with a base salary of $120k to $150k+ Only candidates currently based in Los Angeles with extensive estate management experience in the area will be considered.
