Senior AI Engineer

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating production software systems at a senior engineer level
- Ability to work independently to build applications
- Strong Python development skills, with backend and/or full-stack application experience
- Required experience with Azure, including Azure-native services and enterprise integrations
- Experience building LLM-powered applications, including prompt engineering, model integration, and AI workflow design
- Hands-on RAG experience, including retrieval patterns, vector search, knowledge grounding, and evaluation
- Experience integrating external APIs, enterprise platforms, and Microsoft 365 ecosystems
- Familiarity with modern AI application frameworks and tools, such as MCP/tool integrations and multi-agent architectures
- Strong database and SQL skills, including the ability to design scalable data models and services
- Systems-thinking skills and the ability to take ambiguous business problems from concept through production deployment
- Familiarity with enterprise AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI productivity platforms
- Azure Cloud AI Fundamentals certification is a plus
- Digital Transformation Leadership certification is a plus
- Build and operate production software systems
- Develop enterprise applications using technologies such as Azure, container services, web hosting, and API calls
- Implement AI tools
- Develop and build LLM-powered applications, including prompt engineering, model integration, and AI workflow design
