Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Dept Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Nursing License: Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a compact license Certifications: - AHA ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA PALS - NIH Stroke Certification - TNCC Must-Have: - Willingness to float to other units and hospitals - Minimum of 1 year experience in the specialty field Description: We are seeking a highly skilled registered nurse to work in the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. Our team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff available 24/7. The Emergency Department is a designated trauma center and stroke center. We treat a high volume of patients annually. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. Candidates must have a degree in nursing and relevant certifications. Experience working under a high level of professional license is required. This position involves direct patient care and requires a clinical focus.
