Registered Nurse Juvenile Correctional Facility
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in a juvenile correctional facility. This role requires a nurse who is confident and comfortable working in a secure environment and delivering care to adolescents.
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing
- Comfortable working in a juvenile justice facility
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with facility staff, mental health providers, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
