We are hiring immediately for 1 temporary School Clinician for a school district in West Covina. School is a continuation high school.  This is a temporary, contractual assignment that will begin ASAP and will last until June 2027. Hours are M - F, for a total of 7 paid hours/ day. Pay is $40 - $52/ hour and group clinical supervision is offered. Due to it being temporary in nature, benefits are not offered. Job is fully in person, on site. School vacations will be observed- not worked and therefore not paid.

 

Description of responsibilities:
-Provide SEL curriculum in the classrooms
-Provide counseling services for individuals and groups
-Develop/present social-emotional lessons to students and/or parents
-Consult with teachers, administrators, and other staff regarding social, emotional, and academic needs of students
-Provide crisis counseling
-Maintain effective communication with program staff and site level staff
-Prepare reports, documents and other forms of communication to support services for students
-Maintain appropriate documentation and records

 

 

Requirements:
-AMFT, ASW, LCSW, MFT, MSW with PPSC
-Experience providing therapeutic services in schools and/or clinics
-Experience working with children (1st -12th grades)
