JOB DESCRIPTION :

Act as liaison, advocate, and coordinator for consumer involvement in support groups, and other integrated community activities. Ensure implementation of the New Jersey Individual Service Plan (NJISP). Oversee all consumer medical, medication, and health issues, ensuring communication to staff, and other stakeholders using appropriate documentation and logs. Foster open and supportive communication with consumers, families, and various community agencies. Oversee daily operations of the apartment building, including scheduling, staff coverage, consumer activities, transportation, safety, and building upkeep. Ensure compliance with all licensing, Medicaid, HUD, and DDD regulations, as well as agency policies. Maintain documentation in accordance with licensing, Medicaid, and agency requirements. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Assistant Managers, ensuring they provide effective leadership and support to direct care staff. Monitor physical site conditions to ensure health and safety standards are maintained. Oversee recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, and performance management of all residential staff. Maintain communication with the Director of Adult Services, Assistant Managers, staff, families, guardians, and external providers. Facilitate team meetings and ensure staff receive regular feedback, and professional development opportunities. Serve as the primary liaison for HUD compliance matters related to apartment building. Collaborate with other agency departments to ensure coordinated and integrated support.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Arc of Somerset
