Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision‑making. Assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, monitor progress, and adjust as needed; document care and patient responses. Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor for adverse effects and ensure patient safety. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, symptom management, and discharge planning; provide support and resources as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, quality care and smooth transitions between care settings.
