Therapists in our facility enjoy a schedule conducive to work-life balance, with outpatient hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough evaluations to analyze movement patterns, strength, range of motion, and physical limitations in relation to orthopedic conditions.Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to craft customized rehabilitation plans that align with their recovery goals and physical capabilities.Implement Evidence-Based Treatment: Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular techniques, to optimize patient recovery.Patient Education: Provide education regarding patients' conditions, expected outcomes, and create personalized home exercise programs that empower patients in their recovery journey.Track Progress: Monitor and document patient progress, utilizing functional outcome measures to adapt treatment as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery and satisfaction.Collaborate Effectively: Engage with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and treatments, adhering to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.Continued Professional Development: Pursue ongoing education opportunities, participate in workshops and seminars to remain informed about advances in orthopedic rehabilitation.Patient Population / Client FocusThe primary patient population at Life Mission Nursing and Rehab includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, such as total joint replacements and sports-related injuries, as well as those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists play a vital role in restoring functional mobility, reducing pain, and improving the overall well-being of our patients. Recognizing the diverse challenges faced by each patient, our treatment strategies are flexible and designed to support varying levels of recovery.QualificationsValid California Physical Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.Strong communication skills with a patient-centric approach.Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring attention to detail in patient care and documentation.Preferred ExperienceOrthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is highly desirable.Experience in post-operative rehabilitation for orthopedic patients.Familiarity with modern treatment techniques, including but not limited to dry needling and ultrasound therapy.Compensation and BenefitsThe Physical Therapist position at Life Mission Nursing and Rehab offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience.
