Registered Nurse (RN) Rehabilitation

Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time – Night Shift – 36 hour weeks (12 hour shift) Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is a 60‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a severe injury or illness. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation for a range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. What You Will Do In This Role Administer nursing care by providing direct bedside assistance and coordinated support for patients. Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care for patients hospitalized with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric and emotional disorders. Assume direct responsibility for patient observation, task delegation, and leadership of unit staff. Act as an active member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting the organization’s philosophy of care. Ensure the safety and well‑being of each patient and follow all medical orders and treatment plans. Serve as a patient advocate at all times. Qualifications Assess patients and develop care plans within set time‑frames, documenting findings per policy. Oversee and supervise the shift, delegating tasks such as group activities, close observation, and meal supervision. Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly, including notifying the physician as required. Follow hospital policy for medication administration. Consistently use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients. Deliver quality nursing care to ensure treatment goals are executed per hospital policies and procedures. Assist in performing comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients.
