What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality CT scans in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Cover a caseload of 8-12 patients per shift, including trauma, stroke protocols, and routine ED scans
• Operate Siemens and GE scanners, including S3000 and Sequoia models
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for accurate diagnosis and patient safety
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and imaging standards
• Support emergency procedures, including contrast administration and specialized protocols
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, including weekends, without RTO (Request Time Off)

What You Need

• Required:
  • 2+ years hospital CT experience, with a focus on emergency radiology
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens FORCE scanners
  • ARRT(R)(CT) certification
  • BLS certification
• Preferred:
  • Experience with outpatient imaging, IV starts, PACS, and Visage systems
  • Trauma CT procedure experience: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTA, multiplanar reconstruction

About the Assignment This assignment is located in a busy emergency department within a prominent hospital in Charlotte, NC, accommodating infants to geriatrics. The unit handles approximately 150-200 scans daily across four rooms, with a focus on critical cases such as stroke and trauma. The environment is highly dynamic and requires quick thinking, proficiency with Siemens scanners, and excellent teamwork.
