Step into a vital role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This opportunity, situated near Festus, MO, offers an engaging environment where your expertise will make a lasting difference in the lives of Pre-K and elementary students. The assignment runs from August through May 2027, with a weekly commitment of 32.5 hours.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience within a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs), progress monitoring, and goal-setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 52 Pre-K and elementary students
• Conduct evaluations to assess student needs, develop individualized goals, and implement tailored interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, assessments, and student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and develop reports as required
• Offer consultative support and strategies to educators and caregivers, promoting generalization of skills across school environments
