Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00559 Pay Range: $25.00 - $38.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits 1st or 2nd Shift A manufacturing company on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio to hire a skilled 1st or 2nd Shift Maintenance Repair Technician. This is a critical role responsible for the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of capital equipment and facility systems. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical issues in capital manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts using blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools. Identify and resolve failures in heavy presses, conveyor systems, plumbing, and industrial vehicles (excluding major engine overhauls). Client out and assemble new machinery and equipment according to engineering specifications. Ensure all facility assets remain operational to minimize production downtime. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational/Technical degree. Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience with Hydraulic, Electrical, and Pneumatic systems. Specific experience maintaining conveyor systems. Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge and experience with welding and fabrication. Strong understanding of OSHA Basic safety requirements. Strict adherence to Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
