As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Charlotte, NC at Amazon Warehouse , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a dynamic technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior work areas, common spaces, loading areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with employees, visitors, and vendors regarding site policies and security-related procedures.
• Support daily operations by observing the location for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, then escalating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
