This is a full-time, benefited position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is located at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo, but travel to other sites may be required as needed. What you'll do:

• Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures EKGs
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Collecting patient data in person and by phone
• Stocking and reorganizing supplies
• Ordering supplies
• Check in with patients throughout their appointment to ensure they are comfortable for their chemo treatment

Qualifications:

• Required Certification/Registration: Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
• BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience working as Medical Assistant Hematology or oncology experience
