Job Details West Village MRI Tech Position Monday‑Friday, 8‑5, no call, nights, or weekends. Salary: $57 – $66 per hour. Job Responsibilities Performs thorough screening of patients prior to procedure. Prepares patients for examination. Performs MRI procedures including abdominal, thoracic, neurological exams, extremities, sub‑periosteal implant planning, radiation therapy treatment planning, biopsies, etc. Administers intravenous (IV) and oral contrast agents as per Radiologist order. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program – required. New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in IV contrast administration – required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration – required. Magnetic Resonance Imaging R.T.(MR)(ARRT), required within 18 months of entry date. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) – required. Prior radiology experience – required; experience in MRI preferred. Knowledge of MRI equipment and protocols – required.
