Position Equipment Operator Responsibilities Maintains and operates heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks as instructed. Greases machines on a regular basis. Operates different forms of equipment including the backhoe, loader, skid steer, excavator, paver, etc. Checks equipment regularly for malfunctions and reports any issues to the supervisor. Daily maintenance of machines including the fuel and grease. Performs operational duties in a safe manner. Qualifications RI or MA Hoisting License Ability to work as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to stand for extended hours of time Excellent communication and observation skills Familiar with use of power and hand tools Ability to follow directions Must have a strong work ethic Work Schedule Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm Occasional Weekend/Night work available based on projects Most work done in the peak construction season of Spring thru Fall Overtime available and based on project schedule or needs Compensation Paid weekly $38.00 to $39.00 per hour based on experience and ability Salary: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits Paid Holidays 401K (with 4% company match) Profit Sharing PTO Healthcare, Dental, & Vision available Potential for advancement within the company #J-18808-Ljbffr Hartford Paving Corporation
