Job Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate follow-up, collection, reconciliation, and resolution of patient accounts and third-party payer claims for a Critical Access Hospital. This position supports the hospital's financial health by ensuring maximum reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance carriers, managed care organizations, workers' compensation, liability carriers, and self-pay accounts.
