Job Overview

Seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Testing / Test Lead to lead end-to-end testing activities for SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, migrations, and transformation programs. The role is responsible for developing test strategies, managing testing teams, coordinating functional and technical testing, and ensuring high-quality deployment across SAP business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing strategy and execution for SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and rollout programs.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and testing schedules.
• Manage SIT, UAT, regression, integration, functional, performance, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Coordinate testing across SAP modules including FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, HCM, and other integrated solutions.
• Lead test teams, assign testing activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of testing cycles.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to identify appropriate test scenarios.
• Coordinate integration testing between SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications, legacy systems, middleware, APIs, and external platforms.
• Establish test entry and exit criteria, defect management processes, quality gates, and testing metrics.
• Manage defect lifecycle from identification through resolution, retesting, and closure.
• Work closely with functional consultants, developers, business users, project managers, architects, and technical teams to resolve testing issues.
• Lead UAT planning and execution while coordinating business stakeholders and key users.
• Validate data migration and reconciliation activities during SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Ensure testing coverage for critical business processes and identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare testing dashboards, status reports, defect metrics, and executive-level testing updates.
• Support cutover, deployment, production readiness, and post-go-live validation activities.
• Ensure testing processes align with SAP implementation methodologies, organizational quality standards, and project governance.
• Identify testing risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, automation, tools, and quality assurance practices.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP testing experience, with significant experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong experience leading testing activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation programs.
• Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, regression, integration, functional, end-to-end, and performance testing.
• Experience managing large, complex SAP testing programs and distributed testing teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and cross-functional integration.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, Tricentis Tosca, Jira, ALM, or similar testing and defect-management tools.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, traceability matrices, and testing reports.
• Strong defect management and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with data migration validation, reconciliation, and interface testing.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration with non-SAP applications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 testing and modern S/4HANA user interfaces.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, APIs, middleware, integration platforms, and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Experience with automated testing and test automation frameworks.
• SAP certification in testing, S/4HANA, or relevant functional areas is preferred.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
