This role partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to help drive timely execution, accurate communication, and strong operational follow-through across two departments.The impact you can haveSupport Sr. Manager & Director in executing sourcing strategies and driving business results.Communicate daily with internal and external business partners, providing timely, accurate follow-up through resolution.Manage the Time and Action Calendar throughout each seasonal product life cycle.Set up and maintain WebPDM, purchase orders, and related system data to ensure accuracy and timely distribution.Track, receive, unpack, distribute, and ship packages and samples throughout the product development and production process.Review Work in Progress (WIP) manufacturing reports weekly with Sr. Managers and external partners.Track bulk production shipments to support on-time distribution center receipts.Assist with product costing, cost analysis, cost entry, summary reporting, and related maintenance.Identify risks, communicate concerns in a timely manner, and partner on solutions for category, departmental, and production challenges.Coordinate fit, confirmation, photo, and other sample reviews to support timely seasonal approvals.Verify technical design packets with managers and design partners to ensure clarity and accuracy before handoff to overseas agents.Request Customs style classifications from the Imports team and maintain accurate data in TradeStone.Build strong relationships with internal and external partners while supporting managers and category team members on special projects as needed.You’ll bring to the roleBachelor’s degree.3+ years of experience in textile, apparel, accessories product development, sourcing, or a related business field preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; working knowledge of Microsoft Teams is a plus.Customer-service mindset with the ability to build collaborative relationships and understand partner needs.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Results-driven with disciplined follow-through and strong operational execution.Culturally aware and able to adapt communication style across global partners.BenefitsYou will be eligible to receive a merchandise discount at select KnitWell Group brands, subject to each brand’s discount policies.Support for your individual development plus opportunities for career mobility within our family of brands.A culture of giving back – local volunteer opportunities, annual donation and volunteer match to eligible nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic activities to support our communities. *Medical, dental, vision insurance & 401(K)*Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Time off – paid time off & holidays*The target salary range for this role is: $80,000 - $85,000*On-site: This position works on-site at least 4 days per week consistent with the needs of the business at our Talbots office location in Hingham, MA.Any job offer will consider factors such your qualifications, relevant experience, and skills.
