Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced X-ray/Radiology Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in acute care imaging and possess relevant certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and analyze advanced imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform X-ray, fluoroscopic, trauma, and portables exams independently.
• Adapt to various clinical environments, including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR settings.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain accuracy in image acquisition and documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and optimal imaging results.
• Complete all required charting and documentation using Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold active ARRT (R) certification and BLS credential.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent radiologic technologist experience, with at least 1 year in a Level 1 trauma center and Children's Hospital.
• Demonstrate expertise in fluoroscopic studies and OR imaging.
• Possess current SCRQSA license or be able to obtain one before start.
• Be skilled in acute care imaging across diverse hospital units.
• Be willing to float within qualified units as per hospital policy.
