Director Of Accounting & Finance
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Accounting & Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $160,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting and finance operations while ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.
- Lead financial close activities, account reviews, reconciliations, and analysis of operating results and expense trends.
- Manage expense reimbursement processes and ensure compliance with established financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with auditors and prepare supporting documentation for financial reviews and compliance requirements.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects to increase efficiency and strengthen financial operations.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience within an accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, payroll accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
Qualifications
- A professional certification or advanced degree.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Self motivated leader who exercises sound judgment, maintains professionalism, and continuously seeks process improvements.
