Service Sales Specialist

Job Summary This role is responsible for understanding the organization's offerings, building client relationships, and supporting account managers in tailoring solutions for clients. The role maintains an accurate record of client interactions and analyzes sales data to optimize sales performance. The role enhances skills through training, stays updated on industry trends, and seeks feedback from senior employees for improvement. Responsibilities Develops an understanding of the organization's products, services, solutions, and software, including unique value propositions and competitive advantages. Builds professional relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their unique business and IT needs. Supports in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies for both new and existing clients. Maintains accurate and organized records of leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and market research findings. Collab«iates with product development teams to create custom solutions or tailor existing offerings to meet specific client needs. Takes ownership of tracking and reporting on key sales metrics and using data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies. Participates in training sessions, and attends industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance sales techniques, product knowledge, and communication skills. Stays updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to enhance expertise and contribute to market positioning. Ensures that all sales activities comply with industry regulations and legal requirements. Education & Experience Recommended Four‑year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience. The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $ 121,750 - $179,600 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
