Oracle Database Administrator

Minimum 10 years relevant Database experience within the IT support industry, and 2 to 3 years of working experience in financial industry preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting Oracle Exadata Platform/Exacc in a mid-size to large corporate environment (production support experience is a must) OCM or equivalent proficiency. Having hands-on experience in GCP native databases and mongodb. Technical proficiency Expertise in Oracle Exatadata View email address on click.appcast.io platform. Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Shell script, PowerShell, Python etc. ) for automation. Expertise with performance tuning, capacity planning, and high availability/disaster recovery solutions, Migration and troubleshooting. Design GCP workloads for high performance, high availability and scalability. Experience in oracle & google cloud in-rest and in-transit encryption. Ability to apply technical principles when performing troubleshooting Solid technical fluency with tools and systems i.e GitHub, confluence, Jira etc. Knowledge of network and firewall concepts & architecture Experience working with partners in different locations and cultures Ability to manage conference calls with multiple attendees to resolve issues. Ability to effectively articulate a status or plan to peers and clients. Responsibilities’ Provide 24/7 support for Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB , Mssql and Sybase . Migrating database from On-prem to Private and Google Cloud(GCP) Support Oracle and Non-Oracle patching activities. Troubleshoot performance issue and apply permanent fix. Restore & recover database on-demand basis. Database upgrade/Patch to latest known version #J-18808-Ljbffr
